Getting there
Free parking for cars and buses is available directly at the hotel.
Upon arrival, we recommend directly accessing the hotel parking lot (entrance Gurk left / in front of the round tower left again). Accessing the entrance via the courtyard is not possible!
From the direction of Salzburg: via the A10 to St. Michael > exit B96/B95 to Stadl an der Mur > continue on the L63 via Flattnitz to Gurktalstraße B93
From the direction of Vienna:
route 1) via the A2 to the exit St. Leonhard im Lavantal > via Klippitzthörl > further direction Guttaring and Althofen > Friesacherstraße turn left towards Klagenfurt > in Pöckstein turn right onto Gurktalstraße B93
route 2) via the A2 to Völkermarkt/Ost > continue on B82 towards Brückl and Kappel until Pöckstein turn left onto Gurktalstraße B93
route 3) via the S6 to St. Michael junction > continue on the S36 towards Klagenfurt > B317/Friesacher Straße via Perchauer Sattel and Neumarkt to Pöckstein > turn right onto Gurtalstraße B93

As destination station we recommend the stations St. Veit an der Glan, Friesach or Treibach-Althofen. The station shuttle (“Bahnhof-Shuttle”) takes you directly to your hotel or to one of the numerous top attractions in Carinthia.
