On July 1, 2024, the Salzburg state parliament passed an amendment to the Salzburg Overnight Stay Tax Act with the introduction of a mobility tax of € 0.50. This mobility tax allows all registered overnight guests to use all public transport (bus, train) in the province of Salzburg free of charge.

Getting there
From Maishofen: In Maishofen, take the L111 towards Saalbach Hinterglemm. Turn right after the police station onto Unterdorf street. The JUFA Hotel is located on the right side after 50 meters.
From Germany (Munich) – Vignette-free: Option 1: Take the A8 to the Siegsdorf exit. Follow the B306 towards Inzell, then the B305 towards Schneitzlreuth, and the B178 towards Lofer. Continue on the B311 towards Saalfelden, then towards Maishofen/Zell am See. Option 2: Take the A8 to the Inntaldreieck, then the A93 to the Oberaudorf exit. Follow the B172 towards Kössen, then the B176 towards St. Johann/Tirol, and the B164 towards Saalfelden. Continue towards Maishofen/Zell am See.
From Salzburg/Wien: Take the A1 to the Wals/Lofer exit. Follow the B21 towards Bad Reichenhall, then the B178 towards Lofer. Continue on the B311 towards Saalfelden, then towards Maishofen/Zell am See.
From Graz: Take the A9 to the Selzthal exit. Follow the B320 towards Eben, then the A10 towards Bischofshofen/Salzburg to the Bischofshofen/Zell am See exit. Follow the B311 towards Zell am See/Maishofen.
From Villach (south): Take the A10 to the Bischofshofen/Zell am See exit. Follow the B311 towards Zell am See/Maishofen.
From Innsbruck (west): Take the A12 to the Wörgl-Ost exit. Follow the B178 towards St. Johann/Zell, then the B164 towards Saalfelden. Continue on the B311 towards Zell am See/Maishofen.
The JUFA Hotel in Saalbach is located in the heart of the ski and hiking resort, just a few steps from the pedestrian zone and the “Schattberg X-press” cable car. Parking spaces are available for cars
From the airports Munich (MUC) and Salzburg (SZG), you can quickly and affordably reach Saalbach Hinterglemm via the Holiday Shuttle. Other nearby airports are located in Innsbruck (INN), Linz (LNZ), and Klagenfurt (KLU).
