In the heart of the tourism region Savognin Bivio Albula, since June 2021, the family-friendly JUFA Hotel Savognin***s awaits you with a new dimension of vacation:
You can expect rooms and junior suites entirely designed with wood and natural materials, as well as a spacious wellness area with Finnish sauna, Laconium, infrared cabin, and a relaxation zone. Kids can let off steam in the 50m², two-story indoor children’s play area featuring climbing towers, tunnels, climbing walls, and a rope course.
1,000 km of hiking trails wind through the Parc Ela, Switzerland’s largest nature park. Far from mass tourism, this area reveals an original natural and authentic cultural experience.

From the first night, JUFA guests can use it to access mountain railways in Savognin and public transportation between Salouf, Savognin, Bivio, and the Julier Pass for free. Changes reserved. The opening hours depend on the daily situation. Please inquire at the reception or by phone at +41 81 723 7083.
*We kindly ask you to reserve a table in advance – our restaurant has a limited number of tables and is usually very busy during the peak holiday periods!
The half-board for our hotel guests also includes a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course dinner.

Trailrunning in Savognin
On foot across the vast network of paths through Val Surses – experience the heart of Graubünden up close, from the valley floor to the mountain peaks, depending on the route chosen for “Trailrunning Surses”!
The trail run takes you right through the largest natural park in Switzerland, Parc Ela. Passing by landmarks, alpine taverns, and beautiful viewpoints – enjoy the varied trail running experience through a stunning valley.
You have the choice between 2 options – either a circular tour or a circular tour with additional loops – all routes require good alpine experience and a good basic level of fitness.

Getting there
Starting Point: Zurich, Switzerland
A3 Motorway:
Drive on the A3 towards Chur.
Keep right at the fork to stay on the A3.
Follow the signs for Chur/Sargans.
A13 towards San Bernardino/Thusis:
At Sargans, switch to the A13.
Follow the A13 south towards San Bernardino.
Exit 22-Thusis Süd:
Take exit 22-Thusis Süd.
Turn left onto the Cantonal Road 3 towards Tiefencastel.
Tiefencastel:
In Tiefencastel, turn left onto Route 27, the Julierstraße.
Savognin:
Follow the Julierstraße for about 10 km until you reach Savognin.
In the town of Savognin, follow the signs to the JUFA Hotel.
Notes:
The drive from Zurich takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) will transport you within Switzerland to Chur, from where you continue with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to Tiefencastel, where you change to the PostBus (bus) that takes you to Savognin.
Save yourself the hassle of carrying luggage and take advantage of our attractive luggage service in collaboration with SBB.
Your luggage will be picked up from your home and will be waiting for you in your hotel room upon your arrival – starting from 44 CHF for up to 4 pieces of luggage.
